Working with the design agency Studio 11, we created a visual identity for the BDA’s annual flagship event ‘British Dental Conference and Exhibition’. This included the creation of a lead graphic and set of visual guidelines for use on wide range of promotional materials, signage and stationery.
The British Dental Conference and Exhibition is the UK’s largest combined dental conference and exhibition. It runs for three days and provides dentists and nurses with a range of educational seminars and workshops. Delegates can also browse the exhibition and socialise with colleagues at various social events during the three days.
The visual identity for the Conference and Exhibition is redesigned every year. Work starts about ten months prior to the event when agencies are invited to pitch concepts and visual mock-ups. The chosen concept is then applied to a variety of formats across print and web, conference brochures, flyers, advertisements and signage.
A vibrant interlocking pattern of semi-transparent graphic petals was chosen to represent the theme of networking and a varied palette of colours to reflect the diversity of the profession.
